Where is run logon scripts synchronously
What language is the script and can you post a piece of it installing an app? More than likely, your call to the external installer is not waiting for that process before continuing the script. You can also place the scripts in a network share, and create one bat script that calls the install scripts in turn. I have different GPs, since not everone gets them installed.
The other option you could try here is a VBScript-based installation method. Have cscript. If not, then run the next installer.
Not sure if that is sarcasm or if you are questioning : They do have several MSIs as part of the install, but have not seen a way to install them via normal software GP.
Only way is via script so far that I have found. If each software install is a different script and different GP, could you check to see if the previous exe is running or would you just put in the same line at the beginning of every script to check that any exe file is in use? My thought was that the script calls the exe and then closes, then goes on to the next script which calls another exe. Is the GPO settings something that you have to install? Don't have options in either User or Computer logon area.

Wednesday, June 18, PM. Could you verify that removing the 'run synchonrously' will still allow the scripts to process - it may just be a few seconds after explorer is up that the drives are actually mapped, etc?
